Artists & long time pals, Leah Vlatko of Sun and Flower Studios and Ash Frost are coming to the Vancouver Arts Centre in November for a month-long residency. The two artists based on Walyalup Boodjar (Fremantle) will spend the month working on a body of work inspired by native banksia in a combination of textile and acrylic works.

The artists will be running a range of creative workshops while they are here, partnering with Amity Health’s healing groups and local Noongar communities. The will also be running a workshop on creating your own herbarium journal with textiles and watercolours, a kids workshop & an open studio at the end of their residency. More details to come.
